WE all love Mr. Dan Moore Sr. founder of the APEX Museum, so much. He was definitely a pilar in the community and would help anyone who asked. I always say it is because of Mr. Moore that Sisters of Today & Tomorrow even existed, he did the paperwork to make us a 501C(3); And we became authors because of his encouragement, insight and support. Dan Moore founded Atlanta’s oldest Black history museum Dan Moore moved to Atlanta in 1974, the same year that Maynard Jackson was inaugurated as the first Black mayor of a major Southern City.

Fulton County District Attorney's Office Fani Willis was the guest speaker at our church Big Bethel AME Church in Atlanta, GA., during our Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday Service. Sister Fani gave a very moving and powerful message! However, mainstream media didn't seem to catch it, but The Atlanta Voice, a black media outlet, did. They wrote a very thorough piece on Big Bethel AME Church and our guest speaker... This is why it is important that we support outlets.
