With a very heavy heart, I have to announce that I am no longer at Adore Hair Studio. I have nothing but good things to say about the salon and my experience there, but this pandemic has brought us all a lot of change and unfortunately my own business has not been spared. After taking some time to reflect and look at what’s happening around town, I decided it would be best to put myself in a busier place. Believe it or not after almost 25 years in my craft, I also need to continue to learn and grow, while being surrounded by stylists of the same mindset.

I have decided to return to a familiar place, with a different name and refreshed look, but more importantly with a better leader and team, at Soren Salon! Soren has made a great success of the former Keri Gold space, located off of I-75 and at the intersection of Northside Parkway and W. Paces Ferry Road. It’s also nice to get back to work with some friends and colleagues who appreciate a similar work ethic and environment. I hope you will join me and experience it for yourself!

My addition to Soren Salon also means I’m bringing online booking with me! The salon did not have online booking, but now they do for myself only. Happy Summer!

Hopefully you are staying safe and enjoying your summer! It's been great to get back to a normal schedule in the salon and to see all of your unmasked faces. That being said, for now I will be masking up again out of an abundance of caution, but you are not required to wear one. I have been fully vaccinated but recently there have been breakthrough infections close to me and I want to make sure not to unknowingly spread any infection.

There are a few important changes to my service menu and pricing to make you aware of. I have removed gender from my haircutting menu, so now you will have the choice of a "45 Minute Haircut" or a "1 Hour Haircut." Most men fall into the 45 minute category, while most women are of the 1 hour category, because it includes a blow-dry finish. Single process hair color now comes in two options, with or without a haircut, so you no longer need to book a separate haircut for root touch-ups and all over color ONLY ($10 discount is automatically applied to the haircut). All other chemical services require a separate haircut to be booked with the service if required ($10 discount will also be applied). Some other prices and times have also increased slightly, which is to adjust for the actual time needed to properly perform these services and the products being used. There are some exceptions and special cases that will not change, but if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to ask.

As of April 20th I have been 14 days post second Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine shot! It feels great and if you haven't gotten your vaccination shots done or scheduled, please help us all get past this pandemic and get it done! All of the stylists at Adore have had at least one shot and more than 90% of the clients that have been in within the last month have also. The salon has increased its capacity to 75% as we also continue to wear masks, require of guests to wear masks and follow sanitation guidelines recommended by the CDC.

While I have seen many of you throughout the pandemic, just maybe less frequently or not in the salon, I'm missing those of you who have not been back. Please come in and let me get your hair back in shape! I have opened my schedule back up and while I have been getting busier, there are still many opportunities for you to schedule. That being said I'm not going to be as available for house calls, so if you're still weary of being around many people, I encourage you to schedule earlier in the week when fewer stylists and guests are in the salon. One final note, you may notice some prices incase slightly, mostly on color services, because the cost of everything we use has gone up over the past year or more, and I haven't adjusted my prices in over 4 years. Beautifully Safe at Adore

Happy fall y'all! I hope this message finds you and your family in good health, during what continues to be a trying time for everyone. I am happy to report that my family has stayed healthy and safe during this pandemic, as well as the entire staff at Adore Hair Studio. In fact, we were just giving each other a virtual pat on the back recently, because we have been so diligent with our sanitation and house rules at the salon, which has helped us and our clients stay safe and healthy as well. I tell many people that the salon is the safest place I go outside of my house, and I mean it!

The salon is continuing to operate at 50% or less, especially being that we don't even have every chair filled right now. Sunday-Wednesday are the slowest days overall, in case you are trying to avoid being around others. I have decided to open my schedule every Monday, since it is the quietest day, for those who really don't like to be in the salon with other people. There are usually just two to three stylists in the entire salon, so if you prefer a chill atmosphere please check out Mondays from 10-6.

House calls are becoming more challenging to accommodate, being that I am in the salon 4 days a week, and hopefully that will continue until we are out of this pandemic. If the situation gets worse and new restrictions are placed on us, I will be more available. Should that happen please do not hesitate to ask.

With the holidays upon us, please stay healthy and keep your families safe. Just remember we are all in this together and it will be over in the near future. You may not be going to family gatherings, so consider doing something virtually. By all means, make sure you get your hair done first! Come on in and see for yourself!

It's been great to see some of your faces again at the salon, or most of your face at least! Those who have been in can attest how well we are maintaining clean, well spaced, and safe place to get your hair done. Yes, wearing a mask is a small inconvenience, but we are all used to it now and it just feels right.

Adore is continuing to take every precaution to ensure our safety by having the salon cleaned and disinfected throughout the week. The salon is following the Governor's guidelines as well as the CDC. Therefore through July 11, we are continuing to have every other station operating and stylists working every other day, 7 days a week. I will be available 10AM-7PM week days and slightly shorter days on the weekends.

I will also be able to make some house calls on days I'm not in the salon, but an additional 20% may be assessed. Please reach out to me if you're unable to make my salon schedule work, but keep in mind I have fewer available days.

It's Time To Book Your Appointment

Hello! I've missed you so much and hopefully you have managed to stay healthy during this challenging period. Luckily we have been healthy at home and I'm ready to start easing back into the salon beginning May 1st!

Adore is taking every precaution to ensure our safety as it reopens. Sanitation is already something we take seriously, but the salon is being professionally disinfected throughout the week and also by the stylists after every client. Adore will be following the following the CDC guidelines, which include limiting the number of people in the salon to 10 at a time. This means my schedule is very limited to only 2-3 days a week and for limited hours on those days. My book is marked accordingly for the entire month and I encourage you not to waste any time scheduling your next appointment.

I will also be able to make some house calls on days I'm not in the salon, but an additional 15% may be assessed. Please reach out to me if you're unable to make my salon schedule work or if you're just not ready to be in a salon.

Closing Saturday.

On Saturday, March 21st, I will be closing in the best interest of my clients and our staff, indefinitely. There are some openings still on Saturday and I will be taking clients at my home. You will still be able to book your appointments here on Square, but keep in mind I may need to adjust the schedule to keep enough space in-between appointments. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns, but what's most important is that we all stay healthy and get through this and back to normal as quickly and safely possible.
