Happy Neurodiverse November and December! Follow along the next two months as students highlight some amazing neurodiverse individuals who inspire them, who they view as a role model, who people need to know about, and whose work they appreciate. Neurodiverse November and December is here! Follow along for the next two months as we share neurodiverse people our students are inspired by as well as community events where you can support our school.
Our first event is next week and it is sure to make you laugh! Our friends are hosting an Improv Show on November 13th at 8pm! Tickets are $35 and a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Connections. You can purchase tickets at the link in our bio.

Last night we hosted our first ever HOMECOMING! It was so much fun to bring our CSA family together and see our alumni 🧡💙 and all week leading up to Homecoming, we celebrated Spirit Week! Best week ever am I right???

Students are loving their year-long internships! Thank you to our amazing partners for making this happen. At Kitty Dare, Petit Chou, and ReStore, students are gaining real world work experience and having fun while doing so!

We love Bagel Rescue and the important work they are doing in the community! We are honored to be a part of it!

It was so fun to meet our new volunteers from Connections School of Atlanta! The Community Skills class is rescuing twice a week in East Atlanta Village.
After we chatted about why Bagel Rescue is important, the team had these wonderful insights:
Alan: "I'm excited to work with Bagel Rescue."
Luke: "Bagel Rescue is food for me to rescue to help the community."
Oscar: "Bagel Rescue is healthy for people that are hungry."
Taha: "Volunteering with Bagel Rescue makes me feel proud."

We can’t stop smiling because the first month of school was a dream! This is only the beginning of the fun-filled year we have ahead of us 💙🧡

And just like that, we are back! It was a wonderful first week of school filled with lots of learning, getting to know each other, Olympic Games, hanging out with reptiles, and so much more. It’s going to be a good, good year!

Last weekend, we had the honor of celebrating our high school graduates and our young adults transitioning into the next phase of their lives. We are so proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see what you do next!

We danced the night away at prom this weekend! What a perfect way to end a wonderful school year 🪩🪩🪩

We are back at internships and having the best time thanks to our amazing partners! Y’all make sure to check out , , , , and for delicious meals, pastries, coffee and more. We are so, so thankful for these inclusive businesses hosting interns and providing our students with work experience!

We love learning American Sign Language fingerspelling, signs, syntax and grammar, history, and most importantly culture!

Today we welcomed employees from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services to our science classroom for a trout dissection! The students have been learning trout anatomy since going through the Trout in the Classroom program. And they will release the trout into the Chattahoochee River this week. We love hands-on, project-based learning at Connections!
