"Memento Mori" - a timeless reminder that life is fleeting, a call to live with purpose and intensity. This ancient principle teaches us to embrace each moment with the fullness of our being, understanding that our time is limited.
It's not a morbid reflection but a powerful motivator, urging us to rise above mediocrity, to make every action count, every decision meaningful.
In the face of life's brevity, we are summoned to lead lives of impact and significance, to leave imprints that endure beyond our temporal existence. Let this reminder fuel your passions, sharpen your focus, and inspire you to achieve greatness.
Remember, we are not here to merely exist but to thrive, to contribute, to excel - and in doing so, to truly live.

Sleep and this community...
It's like toothpaste and orange juice...

Bubblewrap and a curious cat...
They just don't mix well. Good sleep is vital for mind, body, and spirit to recharge, leaving you refreshed and alert when you wake up. But let's get real — how many of us struggle to catch those Z's? Do you rely on sleep aids or medication? Maybe you've found yourself using a nightcap to drift off or staying up until your body begs for rest. Do you go out nearly every night to find a warm body to lay next to so that you don't have to deal with the nightmares? We've heard it all and we've been there. Sleep issues, especially for our warriors returning from deployments, are on the rise.
We are honored to work with a number of organizations, who can assist in bringing peace to your mind, and sleep to your nights. If you or someone, you know, has any questions, please don’t hesitate.
Their silence, could be their most deafening scream for help.
It just takes the right ears to hear it.

What do you mean by ”How do you turn this off?”
Why would I ever need to do that?
Cannon Ranch is proud to honor those who served. We encourage our community to join us in contributing to a cause close to our hearts – the Special Operations Care Fund (SOC-F). This organization plays a crucial role in supporting the families of our special operations veterans.
For those looking for a trustworthy organization worthy of support, we have placed a link to the SOC-F donation page in our bio. It will remain there throughout the weekend as a reminder of our commitment to those who have given so much for our country.
For Veterans, very seldom does a day go by that deployments to far flung battlefields aren’t remembered.

I want to feel.
I want to feel the familiar crunch of the gravel beneath my boots.
I want to feel the desert heat take my breath away.
I want to feel the sweat pouring out of me, drenching me.
I want to feel the weight of my gear pulling me down.
I want to feel the fear of not knowing what my next step brings.
I want to feel the comfort of my weapon in my hands.
I want to feel… Alive again.
