Helping a child in foster care build resilience is key to supporting them during the transitional time they are experiencing. In training, CASA volunteers learn about the 7 Cs of Resilience: Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character, Contribution, Coping, and Control. It takes time, but cultivating resilience can go a long way in supporting a child through the ups and downs of life.
