What if you had a child out of wedlock, and then eventually marry your child's mother after the child is born? Well, the good news is - you're automatically legitimated (meaning you're a legal dad to your kid and don't have to go through a messy court procedure to get your rights).

A type of Georgia adoption that is near and dear to my heart: Grandparent Adoption. We've had the privilege of facilitating several of these adoptions, and each one has meant so much to all parties
