Another type of adoption you can have in Georgia: stranger adoptions - this is where you don't already know the child prior to adopting.
Bonus point: an "open" adoption is where you keep communications open with the biological family and your adopted child - and a "closed" adoption is where no communication occurs between the two.

While two parents may agree that child support doesn't have to be paid, it is still technically owed.
