Josh McKoon
Josh McKoon, Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party Josh McKoon For Secretary of State
After a long day, I am grateful to be able to come to this sacred space to hear the Word of the Lord proclaimed, to offer prayers, to give thanks, hear preaching on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and worship God.
Please let me know if you have prayer intentions as I would be privileged to offer those prayers.
And if you are willing, please pray for me and my family!
I love the Holy Days of Obligation on the Catholic calendar because they call us to stop and pause from the whirlwind of worldly pursuits it is all too easy to get caught up in and reflect on matters eternal.
I am grateful for this opportunity on a warm summer evening to give thanks, to worship, to pray, and to listen to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I have prayed for those of you who have asked me and if you would like to add your prayer intentions, please let me know. I would be honored to offer prayers for you.
And as I always ask, it would mean so much to me if you would be willing to pray for me and my family!
Grateful to have been up early enough to arrive for a time of silent reflection and prayer before morning Mass begins.
Some days as I go over all there is to pray for it can seem overwhelming, but of course when you reflect on the infinite and almighty nature of God you realize there is nothing beyond Him.
I find myself particularly thankful this morning for the gift of family and good friends and this opportunity to offer prayers, give thanks, and to read and hear preaching on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As always if I can be praying for you please let me know. Those who have asked previously have already been prayed for this morning but I would be honored to include you in my prayer intentions.
And if you are willing I would ask that you pray for me and my family!
Powerfully reminded of this today.
Don’t miss an opportunity.
Prayers for those in the path of Hurricane Debby.
This is the third late summer weekend Jacqueline and I have found ourselves in Auburn in preparation to take Jackson to Southern Prep.
I used to attend St. Michael’s in my law school days when visiting Auburn friends. It has moved since then to a beautiful location outside of downtown.
A traditional Catholic Church, it is beautiful to hear/sing the Gloria in Latin and experience the liturgy.
As always, it would be my privilege to pray for you today or anytime if you wish to share prayer intentions with me.
Grateful for this opportunity to pray, hear the Word of the Lord, the Gospel of the Jesus Christ, give thanks, and ask for strength for what lies ahead.
If you are willing, I would be so grateful if you would pray for me and my family!
Great to see Dorothy Harpe already to go to rally for Trump-Vance!
She is a force of nature.

Even on a late night in early Summer, it isn’t too late to take the opportunity to worship in the House of the Lord!
I was grateful for the late evening Mass to give thanks, offer prayers, worship the Lord, hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and a message that I really needed to hear.
It would be my privilege to pray for you if you share your prayer request with me, and if you are willing I hope you will pray for me and my family!
Wherever I find myself on Sunday, I try my best to find my way to Sunday Mass.
I am so grateful to have happened upon this beautiful historic church in Detroit. It became obvious fairly quickly that I was a visitor (no hiding the accent!) and I was made to feel very welcome by Thom who is trying to introduce more people to these wonderful historic churches through the Detroit Mass Mob.
Even before worship began I felt so grateful to have met this man and the kind priest who has shepherded this parish for a short time but will be moving on at the end of the month.
There are so needs to pray for today, to be grateful and give thanks for today, and to turn again and again to Jesus Christ.
I will be praying for those who have asked me — if you have a prayer intention please let me know as I would consider it a privilege to pray for you.
If you are willing I hope you will pray for me and my family.
I say a special prayer today for Jim McKoon, who is the best father anyone could ever pray for on this earth. He has demonstrated for me what a good man is, who takes care of his family and who deeply cares for the greater community around him. I hope you will pray for him too.
I love you Dad!
Grateful to be up early to have had time for quiet reflection and prayer on this beautiful June morning before the Mass begins.
There is so much to pray for today — medical situations for some, deliverance from a trial in someone’s life, and thanksgiving for many blessings and answered prayers.
If you are looking for a church or seeking answers to some of life’s greatest questions, I would invite you to consider joining me one Sunday here at Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta. I have found this to be a wonderful place to hear the Word of the Lord, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and insightful preaching in helping me in my walk with Christ.
If I can offer a prayer for you please let me know and if you are willing I would be so grateful if you could remember me and my family in your prayers!
80 years ago, a sacrificial gift was made by so many American servicemen to preserve the West it is difficult to comprehend.
May we find a way to be worthy of their sacrifice.
80 years ago today:
