Here’s a look at how interest rates are impacting affordability. A lot of people pulled out of the market last year bc, well the market was rough. Unfortunately the home that you could barely afford last summer, all things the same but with the new interest rates, would be out of budget today.
I like to post transparent information about the market. I was one person who pulled out last year as well. I’m kicking myself bc with the rise in interest rates my mortgage on the same house has gone up about $3-400

From there, you can work backward and figure out how much you need to save per month (or even per week) to meet that financial goal.
