Are you a senior and need some assistance with Medicare? Call the Attleboro Senior Center/Reverend Larson Senior Center!
The Larson Senior Center offers free, confidential SHINE counseling on all aspects of health insurance to anyone on Medicare. Below is one of the many success stories.
An Attleboro SHINE counselor assisted a man in his mid 60's who had been auto-enrolled by the state into a plan that did not cover his expensive inhaler. Being knowledgeable about Medicare's Special Enrollment Periods, the counselor was able to find a plan that covered all his prescriptions, and was able to enroll him in that plan. This change will save this Medicare beneficiary over $6,800 in 2024.
To learn more about the SHINE Program and how it may be able to assist you, please call 774-203-1910.
