PayPal locked my account for violation of policies 5 months ago . I get it no problem but at least explain in writing what I did wrong . Well it had $12,500 in funds in the account . Paypal
Is judge , and jury on your account . PayPal locked the account for 180 days and with many phone calls they said no problem you will be sent an email around 180 days with instructions to be able to access your funds . No problem so we contacted them two weeks ago and they said it would be released on or around October 12th . I logged onto my account a few days ago and it said we had a zero balance . They transferred the funds to themselves for damages for use of acceptable terms violation . Basically taking the $12,500 and giving it to themselves without any written letter as to why . In calling them to discuss they stated it was for damages but could not explain what the damages were and said we would have to get an attorney that they could not and would not return the funds . Crazy how they charge you 1% to transfer funds and make money no matter how you get it but then decide even if you have a business if it doesn’t work within the parameters of PayPal they block you and keep your money .
I’m not sure in all the legal jargon how they can legally just take your money without any explanation . In reading on Redit and other forums they have done this to hundred of people and have a class A lawsuit pending for this practice . A few people I see have got the money only after hiring an attorning or filing in an small claims court . I’m just letting you know if you keep large amounts in PayPal I’d think twice about it .
My mortgage finance guy asked me not to transfer money around while I was buying my new house otherwise I would have never stacked up so much in PayPal . Look at me now . I will probably never get the money back but just wanted to share this experience .
Ps: I have had hundreds of messages of accounts of them taking money with no explanation . I have a website , shop sales , customer funds for jobs , and pay employees from PayPal . This isn’t the first time PayPal blocked me btw - it has happened multiple times when I had any back to back transactions for the same dollar amount saying it was suspicious activity . I have a dyno and run quite a few exact amount transactions doing dyno events at my shop . A lot of legit auto parts sales , dyno transactions , tshirt and hat sales etc. people think they know you but they speculate a lot . Btw PayPal owns Venmo so if you have Venmo your not in the clear . If you really need to use an app use ZELLE 👍.
Most famous line : there has to be more to the story lol. Everyone is a internet expert at the end of the day and since it didn’t happen to them they know all . I’ve had PayPal for around 10 years and never had major issues when I transferred the funds out regularly . My advise I guess just transfer your funds regularly and don’t keep large amounts in there . They probably won’t steal $500 but if you stack up large amounts thinking it’s safe that’s when they get you . I’m not perfect but at least if I’m in the wrong let’s discuss and go our separate ways but taking funds without explanation and just hide behind the agreed services agreement is pretty ridiculous . People assume a lot and make some comments just to be keyboard warriors so why go back and forth with people that know everything that’s why just friends can comment. Regardless of the situation no one should be locked out like that. I’ve said my peace . Good luck to everyone that has reached out I really hope you get your money back . I will continue the route I’ve discussed with a few . Thanks again

16ft 42 inches across bottom. Just a good little boat for beating around small streams and ponds. Decent condition for the year. On a nice trailer. Had a homemade transom riser built on back as it was running a short shaft jet at one time. Titles for both. Not fancy but for a tight budget or just for someone who doesn’t need a big boat it’ll pay for itself quick! $600.00 pickup up or shipped

Anyone have a friend, neighbor or family member that owns a prop shop? Want to open your own prop shop? I've got a large lot of props that I'd be willing to sell in one lot (I'll sell them individually but they'll be priced accordingly and not near as good of a deal as if you bought them all). These things just keep piling up, taking up valuable shelf space. Somewhere just over 100 props on the shelf and it gets added to every week. 10 of them are V6 outboard and I/O stainless props that should bring decent money. I'll sell the entire lot of props for $1000. Some of the smaller props go to old pin drive lower units and you'll probably never sell them. Some of the props need various amounts of work but I would think it would be a pretty good deal for someone with the knowledge to repair/resell these. (some of these bigger stainless props don't have markings but appear to be new so please don't ask if I've got particular sizes and pitches because without the proper tools, I have no way of knowing what they are).

CMC PL-65 Hydraulic jack plate. Came with an outboard jet motor I purchased. I hooked it up direct to a battery and it works as it should. Standard 5 1/2 inch setback. No solenoids, switch etc. included, just what you see pictured. Has the capability to handle V6 motors and smaller. Not exactly ideal but if you've got a standard 21 inch transom and want to run a long shaft jet, this will make that possible and allow for quick easy height changes. These can be bought new at $800 plus or you can buy this one for $350 firm. Local pickup available

Something you don’t see real often. Perfect for someone doing a low budget home build that wants dual consoles in their jon boat. Both have storage or could them them livewells on the front. It’s always easy to find starboard side but port side aluminum consoles are tough to find. Priced at $300 for the pair. Has Yamaha gauges in starboard console but please assume they don’t work.

Aluminum dry boxes or convert to livewells. 18x16x12 top dimensions. Need lids installed. $100 each.

2- 20ft top rails 1 1/4 inch diameter. Believe they are for an alweld but will work on nearly any boat. $60.00 per 20ft stick.

Mercury branded 7 3/8 stainless impeller. Part number 47-855708115. Would be found on mercury 90-115, OMC V4 and other similar sized motors. Brand new. $300.00

Parting this one out. 1988 evinrude 60hp 49ci. Complete, good compression at 118-122psi, good electronics etc. L pump is in very nice condition, will be a 4 spline shaft. Pump priced at $1100. 1990 Evinrude 200hp Looper. Needs work but priced right. Great compression on all 6 cylinders. Only has spark on 3 cylinders so I'm assuming power pack or trigger will need replaced. Trim works, jet is in good shape. Does not include controls. Clean title. Not the prettiest motor in the world but won't cost you $20k like a new one either. Looking for $2,000 as it sets complete or will part out if jet sells first. $1250.00 on the jet pump. Prices are non-negotiable.

2002 Tandem Axle Trailer

17ft, 56 inches across the bottom. Decent older hull that's been neglected so it could use some TLC. Rear deck and side panels need screwed back in. Carpet is worn. Hull bottom is nice. Port side panel has an ugly dent in the rear. Trailer is in decent shape. Overall it would be a great fixer upper for someone on a budget needing a bigger hull. You can hang a motor on it, start fishing and fix it up as you go or purchase it and have a winter project. Does not have a motor and I do not have one available for it. Hull and trailer only. Clean titles for both. Will let it go for a small fraction of what a new one cost. Boat and trailer priced at $3000.00 Non-Negotiable.

Yamaha AJ model jet drive. Fits 1995-2010 40-50hp Yamaha short shaft. If you purchase the correct shaft it’ll also fit 1999 and newer 4 stroke as well. Pump is decent. Good bearing, seals etc. Impeller and liner are in need of replacement but I’ll include a good used liner and impeller also. Has 2 shoe bolts that need attention. One has ugly threads and the other is broken off. Includes adapter plate. $650 firm.

40-50hp 2 cylinder power trim unit. Fits 89-05 40hp, 48hp and 50hp. Works as it should. Getting harder to find everyday. $425 Firm, picked up or shipped

Small Jet Pump Intake Assembly (shoe). 6" liner. New, never seen the water yet. Sells at the dealer for $361.62+tax. You can own this one for $250.00 tax included. Fits small pumps such as V, H, Q etc.

Mercury V model jet pump. Fits 1980-2005 18-25hp 2 stroke short shaft. Has older non-replaceable liner shoe. Decent impeller. No reverse linkage parts other than gate. $550 or I'll sell it with a brand new shoe, liner and new impeller for $800.00. Be a good pump for a gigging boat.

Parting out a 1991 Bayliner Capri. Motor and driveline will be removed and parted out individually. Will sell complete interior set (in very nice shape) for $500.00. Will sell complete wrap around windshield $250.00. Or will pull motor and drive parts off and sell complete hull and trailer for $900.00.

We've stepped up the buying game a bit but are still getting farther and farther behind on parting them out. Going to hit it hard over the weekend and thru next week to try and get caught up a bit. Here's a few that are going to get parted over the next several days.

1. Mid 90s Nissan 40hp 3 cylinder w/ power trim, bad gearcase.
2. Early 90s Yamaha 90hp w/ power trim, bad powerhead, no lower unit.
3. 1993 Evinrude 50hp 2 cyl, low compression, no carbs, no trim, no lower unit.
4. Mid 80s 9.9hp Mariner made by Yamaha. Running motor.
5. 2000 Mercury 25hp long shaft, electric start, remote. Bent prop shaft.

Motorguide 70lb Thrust 24volt bow mount trolling motor. Has a few issues but good for someone on a budget that needs something a little bigger than they have. 2 lowest speed settings don't seem to work. Directional indicator on the top doesn't work. $150.00

Aluminum fuel tank. 30 gallon capacity. Dimensions are 60x22x6 1/4 and has a slight tapered bottom as it came from a stern drive boat. $70.00

Altus tilt and trim assembly. Company was bought out by panther marine. This model is now the same as the panther-55. Worm gear driven rather than hydraulic. Rated for 250lbs or 55hp although I’d think 40hp or smaller would be better. Works as it should. Does not include any wiring, switches etc. $150 firm, picked up at my shop.

4 different styles of manual adjustment jack plates. $75-$150 each depending on which you choose. Picked up.
