A flat fell seam is often created on the inside leg seam of jeans. Since the seam is on the outside of the garment, they are much more comfortable to wear. Using the Flat Fell Foot makes the process of sewing these seams incredibly easy.
Hmmm...interesting.
We used the same heart design to cut out seven different fabrics on the MOMENTO Craft Cutting machine. Always remember to do a test cut before cutting your final design...it's ok to tweak the force or speed for your specific materials.
It's picnic season! Keep your picnic fare free from uninvited guests with these washable--and reusable--fabric bowl covers. Personalized with embroidery or applique, they also make a great gift.

Here is part 2 of 3 of the final lesson with Meredith and Classic Sewing. You're almost finished!
We've separated the last MOMENTO project lesson from Educator Meredith McClanahan and Classic Sewing into 3 parts for easier viewing. In this lesson we are constructing (and finishing) the bag!
In addition to braid and cord, the Braiding Foot can also be used to attach narrow ribbon to your project! Select a zigzag stitch on your machine and sew with a coordinating thread color, or mix it up and use a variety of colored fabric and threads.
Achieving straight seams couldn't be simpler than with the Magnetic Seam Guide. Just snap it on to your needle plate and watch your fabric stay effortlessly straight while you sew.
Time to finish the quilt block for the front of our bag. Stay tuned next week for the final lessons!
