What are the key differences between permanent makeup and traditionally tattooing?

✔️Permanent Makeup (PMU) is the process of placing pigment into the upper layer of skin- the epidermis which is constantly shedding and renewing itself

✖️Traditional Tattooing deposits ink deeper into the skin- the dermis and lasts for decades with minor fading

✔️PMU fades within 1-3 years in general, due to the process of cell-turnover

✖️ Traditional Tattoo inks are much more concentrated/stronger in color

✔️PMU Pigments used are much more diluted than ink which allows for a more natural, softer color in the skin and can be layered to create a realistic finish
