MEI's Executive Director Benetick Kabua Maddison, Assistant Marino Morris, and Media Asst. Matthew John are on their way to Germany! The team is going on a three-week nationwide event series called "Nuclear Justice Now!" to raise awareness about the ongoing impacts of nuclear weapons testing and the climate crisis on the Marshall Islands, including the German colonial legacy.

The team will visit 10 cities and will meet with government officials in the capital, Berlin. They will also meet with researchers and organizers and interact with the general public throughout the trip. MEI is immensely grateful to the organizers for organizing the trip and for the opportunity and helping us amplify the Marshallese narrative on the twin issues of nuclear weapons and climate change. Safe travels to the team!
