My client originally was coming in to get extensions and the whole works for a quartet or quintet of weddings she had. Things happened, as they often do!, and she asked if she could just transform her hair into the color we looked at with her extensions and I said yes. I love how this color looked on her, and we loved the transformation!

I love the VRo series so much!! You’re going to see several colors inside the pictures- that’s because my client likes the wet look, but she let me dry it ever so slightly to make sure the color was what we wanted. She’s so stunning and cool.

I love a good day of making pretty! We’ve been doing red on my first client and she wanted to spice it up! (And you know I always love a good spice up.) her daughter wanted to add some highlights into her hair before school pictures and I said definitely! Her texture is so fun, I love seeing it do its thing.

My client and I were staring at the advertising in the shampoo room (the very last picture but with her hair down) and she asked if I thought I could do that color for her. I said yes and I thought she would glow- and she did! We both love how it lifted her face and made her complexion so nice- and how the Olaplex kept her stunning curls!

So, Riley has been shades of hot pink and red and then, deep in the night, she sends me “hear me out.” I love a hear me out!! And then I sent her one back. That is how we got to hot pink, neon green, and secret peekaboo raccoon tails. And I LOVE IT!!

Naomi and I wanted to get some blue lavender in her hair after the rainbow prism and I didn’t quite have time to do any bleaching/we wanted to avoid bleaching more and keep hair health. We got this beautiful sea glass look with just one color! She also ended up matching her Starbucks cup, much to our delight. Scroll for the before.

This lovely guest was having her quince this past Saturday and came in to get a this cascading curls with slick sides updo! Her hair was so shiny and pretty at the end 🤩

Today was an updo/event styling day! Got to start the day with this lovely lady’s more wispy, soft updo. Of course, the initial challenge was she brought me an AI picture as inspiration!

So, a quick story for those who read these captions. Two years ago, this wonderful Jessica was my maid of honor and she organized me literally the best bachelorette weekend. We got to talking about our lives and both of us were exhausted and stressed by the jobs we had. We got to talking, as we do, and talked about how cool it would be to go to beauty school and actually work as cosmetologists together. When things came to a head in my professional life not much later that year, I quit my job and went to beauty school. And now I get to do cool things with people’s hair and I am happier than before and I can’t thank Jessica enough for having been there and been my inspiration.

Anyway, Jessica sent me one of my own selfies I sent her (after she inspired once more to try something new,) and said “I want that look” and I said yes, obviously. Find the difference between us now, I dare you!!!

My lovely coworker Heavenly came in, got me coffee, let me get her hair dark, and gave me the privilege of doing one of my favorite cuts, the butterfly cut!! Also love a good wispy bang moment, especially when they’re multi-purpose bangs.

So, for one, I think I might need to quit being a hair stylist because HOW DO I TOP THIS?! For two, when your friend has a literal dream you did their hair, you do their hair!!! How cool is this?! I’m still stunned I did that!! Naomi, you’re literally the best, thanks for being so optimistic and trusting and also letting me paint rainbows!!!
