First look at Kathleen Turner in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. Photo by Nile Scott Studios. Also featuring Lily Philbrook and Colin Anderson. On stage now through August 17.
I'm not really sure how we lucked out with such amazing weather... but, I'll take it! After an adventurous detour we landed at Hardy Boat Cruises for their Audubon puffin sail. We saw a seal, puffins, Terns, Black Guillemot, Common Eider Duck, Herring Gull, Greater Black-Backed Gull, Laughing Gull, Northern Gannet, and Double-Crested Cormorant. What a day!
It was so nice to get out yesterday afternoon for a hike and some ice cream!
Congratulations to our very own Emma Samson Yoga! We are so blessed to have her here at the Senior Center.
Such talent from these young actors! We had a great afternoon at Dominic's Diner in Boothbay today. They put on a great dinner theater with yummy food and and even better service. Love coming here. Next month is Motown Moves here followed by The Secrets of Cell Block Seven (tickets still available thru us).
A huge thank you to a random yard sale that donated their rug braiding supplies to us! They were given to the Thursday Night crafting ladies who make them.
DEW Haven Notice!
Hello all!
I am back from Alaska where the temps were in the mid 50's... not this low 90's, high humidity, higher heat index and rain/thunderstorms.
With that being said, tomorrow's trip to DEW Haven has been moved to Tuesday, July 30th, same time.
The animals don't like the heat either and with the heat index nearing 100, tomorrow won't be an enjoyable day to be outside (plus, they will most likely be hiding from us).
Thank you and I will see you all soon!
Jody
Not a cloud in the sky! What a nice day to have lunch outside.

A Little Night Music at Ogunquit Playhouse
(open to submit your name for luck of the draw)
In 1900 Sweden, a tangled web of affairs centers around actress, Desirée Armfeldt and the men who love her — lawyer Fredrik Egerman and Count Carl-Magnus Malcom. When a traveling show brings her to Fredrik’s town, the estranged lovers’ passion rekindles. In the perpetual twilight of a Nordic summer, lovers waltz in and out of each other’s lives with possibility, second chances, and endless surprises. Full of wit and wisdom gained through desire and regret, this celebration of love showcases a harmonically advanced score and masterful orchestrations, including one of Sondheim’s most beloved songs, “Send in the Clowns.”
BREAKING NEWS! KATHLEEN TURNER IS MADAME ARMFELDT
The iconic Academy Award-nominated actress makes her first appearance on the Ogunquit Playhouse stage as one of Stephen Sondheim's finest characters.

What an absolutely stunning day for a trolley ride in Kennebunkport! Bluebird skies, a nice breeze, Dennis did a fantastic job on our tour and then folks were off on their own. Lunch, shop, explore, whatever their hearts desire today. Saw three eagles fighting over a perch but only was able to grab a few flying photos.
Sunday Funday! Yesterday we made a trip to Harrison, Deertrees Theater for a production of On Golden Pond. What a great theater, beautiful ride there and a great group of people!
