Among its many benefits, recycling reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills, conserves natural resources, saves energy and prevents pollution, and helps sustain the environment for future generations.

⭐️The holidays can be a time when we spend too much and create too much waste. When you make sustainable choices, you will get more of what we all need: time to enjoy family and friends and to focus on the joys of the season.

✳️The holidays are a time of gathering around a table, enjoying holiday food favorites and (over)eating. The joy of eating is usually followed by leftovers landing in the garbage can. That’s part of the 40% of food wasted year-round in the United States. Small changes can add up to big results, so make a pledge to reduce ⬇️ food waste this holiday season.

Choosing the right gift 🎁 for someone can be difficult, especially when they seem to have everything. The last thing we want to do is spend money on an item that’s going to go unused. Think about giving a handmade gift instead of purchasing something. Handmade gifts are: ⏺one of a kind ⏺personal ⏺created with love.
