Happy Summer Solstice -- the longest day of 2024!

Our sweet potato 🍠 plants are just several weeks away from being planted in the field.

We miss everyone!

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful fathers and father figures out there!

I'm posting photos of some of our many fur-kids through the years. Rodger is pretty much the best fur-dad ever! 🐱🐾🐶

Because we grow seasonally and Florida is just too hot to grow much of anything during summer months, this will be our last farm stand weekend (June 7/8) until late October or early November. We will spend the summer doing clean-up, equipment maintenance and preparation of the field with maybe just a little bit of R & R for us! The first of our seed planting begins in August, with plants going to the field in September.

We will periodically post updates here on Facebook and on our website as to what is happening on the farm.

We will miss seeing everyone but are looking forward to re-opening after summer with our fall crops as well as the start of our 13th CSA season with many returning and new members!

Despite these record-breaking temps 🥵 we are experiencing, some more of our peppers are ready this week -- shish*to and banana -- both mild and delicious). Our Farm Stand is open tomorrow (Friday from 1 to 6 pm) and Saturday (8 am to 2 pm) with these peppers and all our other organically grown veggies!

As we acknowledge the Memorial Day holiday, we reflect, honor and pay tribute to the brave men and women who died while serving in the US Armed Forces during peace and war. Our flag is flying half-staff until noon in honor of all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

We have lots of fresh-off-the-farm squash (plus more veggies) for your Mother’s Day meals! Our eight ball and one ball squashes are great for stuffing and are delicious 😋

We have lots of squash ready for harvesting this week - 6 different kinds, plus freshly dug sweet potatoes 🍠 by Farmer Rodger yesterday. All this and our other organically grown veggies, right-off-the-farm, will make for great Mother's Day meals, or any meal in general. We have our new crop of acorn squash plus our Florida sweet onions, leeks, yellow and zucchini squash, scallions, Kirbys and more. Our 2nd crop of 3 types of kale is limited but still making it through these hot spring time temps!

We also have our fresh, pure Wildflower honey 🐝 straight out of the hives from just a few days ago -- in 2 lbs, 1 lb and 8 oz sizes. Delicious, beneficial, nutritious!

Time to batten down the hatches with today's bad weather -- everyone please stay safe!

Tomorrow should be a much better day weather-wise and we will be open (Friday) from 1 to 6 pm and on Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm. Spring crops are coming in, including yellow squash, Kirby cucumbers, etc. We still have our 4 types of lettuces for this weekend plus scallions, leeks and much more of our organically grown veggies! Our second crop of lettuce 🥬 is ready for your Easter meals this weekend! Four kinds of lettuce are available:

We will have the first harvest of our Florida sweet onions and they are delicious! We just had to taste-test, of course 😄. Also available is the rest of our organically grown produce, fresh off the farm!
