The world helped open my eyes to what beauty truly means. It's from one's own perspective. I chose to love my vibrant soul unapologetically because there was a time when I was muted. I couldn't be me, and I felt trapped. I thought to myself that if I could only conform to what they wanted me to be, then I'd fit in. But then I learned I wasn't meant to be regular. I wasn't meant to fit in. 🌍✨

I was meant to be a light for someone who didn't know there was light. I was meant to love on people when they felt no one cared. Life is worth living! Bold, beautiful colors were meant to lift your soul! This is me in Turkey doing just that among a stack of rugs 🇹🇷

Happy Wednesday! Have you ever really done something you were afraid of? Like at first, you just knew you had it, and something happened, and you're like, whoaaa. Yea, that was me the moment these ladies walked in. I was thinking, what in the world could I tell these ageless beautiful women. But God always knows who needs me and sends them right to me! The moment Ms. Phyllis got up and danced with me, I knew I had given them exactly what they were looking for! A safe place to vent and be unapologetically themselves🩷🩷🩷🩷

Pssssssstttttt It's Nurses Week! Love on a Nurse this week. Get them a coffee, give them a hug, and let them know how appreciated they are. I absolutely love what I do. If you've ever worked with me, you already know the vibes! If I've ever had the pleasure of having you or your loved one as a patient, I made them my family. It's just something about connecting with people in their most vulnerable time and making them smile in the midst. It's truly a blessing 🩺🩺🩺🩺🩺🩺🩺

Happy Monday! It's important to meet yourself where you are in order to improve. If you consistently talk negatively to yourself, you will never change because subconsciously, you've dismantled your self-esteem. If you can't accept and love you, then who will?

Today, I want you to look in the mirror and tell yourself you love her for who she is. You accept her right where she is! And you are ready to be the best version of her by taking one step at a time! Guess what, you just took the first step🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

As I sit here and reflect on my life's journey, I can only just smile. In 2016 the entire time, I had a plan. I would finish nursing school, we would buy the house and the cars, and I'll start on this journey to become a mother. God laughed at those plans, and at the time, I didn't understand why. Why couldn't I have a great marriage? Why couldn't I become a mother? Why couldn't I find happiness within my spouse? All these questions and I felt like there were no answers.

Fast forward to 2024, and I don't have all the answers, but I do know God wanted me to birth something so much bigger than me. So much more than I could ever see in front of me. I am a living breathing testimony of its in you!

I don't care how many people are doing it, if you want to pursue it, go! I don't care how scary it looks to lose people. Let them go. Stop talking yourself out of learning something new at work because you feel you are too old. Stop telling yourself you can't earn that degree because you will be the old lady in class. Love yourself enough to set your soul on fire!
