*Taxpayers*

If you are paying a tax preparer to complete your taxes this year and they ask for your AGI just know the return is being electronically sent as “self prepared” & you are liable for whateverr Is placed on that return.

A tax professional (see the difference) does not need your AGI to complete your current year filing. Another thing to note is its against the law to file a return for pay and withhold your professional ID (PTIN)

**REPOST**

🚨🚨 Hey everyone, just wanted to drop a quick tax refund update here! 🚨🚨

• Not everyone will get their tax refund date this week. The IRS takes between 8 to 21 days from February 15th to process everything.

• "Where's my refund?" - it refreshes daily, usually overnight. So, a once-a-day check is all you need.

• If you got a cash advance, it's hard for us Tax Pros to say exactly how much you'll get back. Things like debts, bank fees, and whether your state refund came first can all affect it so we don’t want to tell you a wrong number and that’s not what you get back.

• Checking the IRS site or calling them isn't something we normally do unless we made an error. If we end up doing it, consider it a bonus from us. You can find all the information you need on the copy of your return.

• If your return is flagged and you call, and the IRS says you have an Error on your return 9 times out of 10 it’s not an error we did. You were flagged because your return fell in one of the categories for them to have a second look or you were just plain randomly flagged.

• Filed in January but seeing folks who filed in early February get their dates first? Yep, that happens. It's all about the IRS's processing times, not a personal thing.

• Selected for ID verification? If they're sending a letter, you've got to wait for it. But if you've got ID.me, that could speed things up a bit.

• The IRS is not flagging your return because you didn’t file Head of Household. IJS

• If you get selected for wage or dependent verification it might be the end of the year before you get your refund

🚨 Tax Update Alert! 🚨

****👏🏾 READ 👏🏾 ALL 👏🏾 IT!!! ***

This post is only for people who are affected by the Path Act. People who don't have either of the 2 tax credits that are affected will continue to get dates.

The PATH Act hold lifts tomorrow for those who claimed the EITC or Additional Child Tax Credit. 📆 According to the IRS, expect many deposits to hit accounts by February 27th. While in past years, payments often arrived early, there's no guarantee.

Just a heads up: no deposits will be processed tomorrow, the 15th. 🚫💰 Look out for the IRS website updates around February 16th and 17th for possible deposit dates.

A friendly reminder: Filing your tax return in January doesn't automatically place you in the first batch for refunds or secure a specific deposit date. 🗓️ Interestingly, some taxpayers who file in early February might see their refunds before January filers.

Your return could be delayed for several reasons, like errors, fraud, ID verification, or checks on wages and dependents, and it's often beyond your tax professional's control. This doesn't necessarily mean there's an issue with your return. 🛑✅

Stay patient and keep an eye on updates! 💼👀

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
So let's go ahead and clear up some tax issues now before all the facebook foolishness starts:

🟣1. Tax Preparers DO NOT control the "Wheres My Refund" website. When you are checking it and it is not doing as you think it should, the people to call is THE IRS, not your tax preparer because the website is owned and operated by THE IRS.

🟣2. If YOU OWE a debt and your money is reduced, YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE LETTER TO COME IN THE MAIL that states why your refund was taken. It takes 3 weeks for the IRS to let you know where the money was offset, MEANING, when you call the IRS, you are calling the call center and they DO NOT KNOW most times why or who took the money. The IRS employs another internal agency affiliated with the IRS to take funds. Just wait the 3 weeks for the letter to come then call complaining.

🟣3. THE TAX ADVANCE WAS NOT FREE. Once your money is released, the advance, bank fees, and your tax professional fees will come out, so please do not act like you dont know.

🟣4. If YOU OWE ANY GOVERNMENTAL debts, it will come out regardless of the amount and if it was not enough to pay your tax preparer, YOU STILL OWE THE TAX PREPARER.

🟣5. It does not matter if you and your friend filed on the same day, one person money can come before the other. Please lets be grown ups.

🟣6. FEES: If your state comes before your federal, the bank DOES NOT care, they are going to take the fees out of the state and if it is not enough, the remainder will come from the federal. So please do not go hollaring my state was stolen because it was not. If the fees are $499 and your state was $240, the bank will take the entire amount and apply it to the fees so when the federal come, the remainder will be applied to cover the fees. So in September youve spent your federal and you call back saying your state never came, yes it did, it just came first and was applied to fees making your federal amount larger.

🟣7. Lastly, some will get letters wanting them to prove identity and or letters stating the return is being reviewed. This is normal and has been going on for years. The IRS sometimes randomly pick individuals.

Good morning!a

TAX TIPS & LOAN INFO

1. Please ensure you wait for all your W2(s) before filing taxes. If you don’t know, your employers send their own tax documents to the IRS so of course the IRS knows what income should be reported on your taxes.

2. Not reporting all of your income only hurts you and prolongs the process…trust me, it’s better to wait for all your documents! Failing to do so could delay your funds for MONTHS, not days or weeks!

3. When you apply for the tax advance, we are TRANSMITTING your taxes to the IRS. Which means your taxes are FILED, and you cannot jump to another tax preparers seat and try to file again.

4. We do not determine the approval amount of your tax advance, nor can you choose the amount you’d like to apply for. The bank looks at different factors from your tax return and makes that determination themselves! If you’re approved the funds are automatically direct deposited into your account!

5. YOU MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO FILE. We don’t play with compliance, and we absolutely don’t play with the IRS‼️

📌📌Want to see if your W2 is available online from a current or past employer?
