When we say highly interactive, we mean HIGHLY INTERACTIVE! The YLI Youth Leaders of Zeta Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, held their November monthly meeting. Twenty-one of our youth leaders enjoyed a fun-filled day of learning and getting to know each other.

The youth leaders kicked off Thanksgiving week by writing Thank You notes to someone in their life they are grateful for. Students then heard from entrepreneur Natassia Peart, owner of Trnj Boutique. With the guidance of Ms. Peart, youth leaders made All About Me Tees with words that describe their personality. In collaboration with the Connections and Social Actions Committee, the youth leaders also participated in a mock election skit. They learned about election polling personnel, election terms, and the election process. Our youth leaders are learning by doing!"

Stay tuned, as we continue to SOAR and develop our future leaders, by letting the youth lead!
