Meet Luke and John – two incredible men who represent the strength and resilience found within our Center of Hope. Luke leads our men’s group every Wednesday at 3 PM, where over a dozen men from the shelter come together for an hour of support, honesty, and healing.

For many of our participants, like John, this group has become a safe space to open up about their struggles and aspirations. Each week, they lean on each other, offering encouragement and a listening ear. Through these moments, we witness powerful transformations.

We're so proud of the success of this group and the growth we've seen. This is what community is all about—lifting each other up when we need it most.

Kroc Camp is for every child, no matter their economic background! A huge thank you to the Dorothy M Buttolph Foundation for their generous grant supporting Kroc Camp Scholarships. With their help, we can break down financial barriers, ensuring more children from low-income families experience the joy and growth of summer camp.

Saluting Our Heroes: Local woman gives back after overcoming adversity One local woman decided to volunteer for the Salvation Army of Augusta and give back to the community after overcoming her own challenges.

Huge shoutout to the 18 amazing volunteers from Savannah River Mission Completion who joined us at The Center of Hope last week during The United Way's Project Serve event! From sorting through mountains of donations to packing up food bags, they did it all with smiles on their faces. Community in action! 💪 Thanks to The American Red Cross, over 50,000 cans of water are now ready to be distributed at The Center of Hope.
