Doctors Hospital is pleased to congratulate Jensen Niemeier on receiving the Patricia Frist Scholarship Award, funded by the HCA Healthcare Foundation!

The Patricia Frist Memorial Scholarship honors dependent children of HCA Healthcare employees with financial support toward a postsecondary education through an application process.

Jensen is the son of Karen Niemeier, a registered nurse in our Wound Clinic at Doctors Hospital, and he currently attends Kennesaw State University, where he is pursuing a degree in Biology.

“When I learned I received this award, I was ecstatic and so thankful. This scholarship will help my family and me tremendously with paying for my education. Knowing I have received this award lifts a lot of stress off my back about how I’m going to pay for the next four years. Being able to focus and enjoy my studies without worrying so much about money will be such a blessing. Thank you so much for this scholarship; it means the world to me. I can’t wait to embark on this new journey and put this award to good use in the fall!”
