Our 6th grade students enjoyed their trip this morning!

Camp Invention is right around the corner and we are excited to host another awesome week here at SMCS, June 3-7! It is a week full of all hands-on STEM activities, innovation, and imagination. This camp is open to all students entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. There is even an opportunity for students entering 7th-9th grade to participate as Leaders-in-Training. A few other notes:

Looking for a Camp Parent! You can receive one FREE registration for your child! If you are available to assist part time during camp week (mostly in the morning) and are interested in being a part of Camp Invention, please reply to this email to let me know. (If you've already registered a child, it's not too late!)

Additionally, I am seeking 3-4 parent volunteers to help in other ways during the week. Registered parent volunteers will receive $100 off camp registration for one child. Please reply to this email if you are interested. (If you've already registered a child, it's not too late!)

Start saving your upcycles for camp week! We create a shared upcycle room that students will visit several times during the week. They will find items to use in their designs and create and build upon prototypes. Please see the attached list of acceptable items.
