TIPS:
1. High-fives and handshakes are now a thing of the past. How about trying an elbow tap or even better, a club tap? This will help prevent the spread of germs as high-fives and handshakes are highly transferable for germs.

2. Take a walk! Skip the cart, and take a stroll from hole to hole. If you MUST take a cart, be prepared with hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. Wipe down the wheel, the keys, the seat, the handles, anything you plan to touch.

3. Wash your hands whenever and wherever possible. If there is a restroom near your current hole, wash your hands. And while you’re at it, make sure to wash your balls too, your golf balls.
If you can, wear golf gloves.

4. Wipe your club handle down as much as possible. Your hands are one of, if not the biggest, carrier of this virus. Make sure you are cleaning as much as possible.

5. Take advantage of the beer cart. Ask that the beer cart attendee wear gloves if they aren’t already, and if they are not, wipe down your drink with disinfectant wipes if you have them.

6. Try not to constantly touch your phone! Yes, this is hard, but you can do it!

7. Last but not least, if you are sick or feeling slightly under the weather at all, STAY HOME!
