We extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Schuh's family, students, and colleagues. Mr. Schuh was a 29-year veteran elementary school teacher in Indian Prairie School District 204 inspiring students at Owen, Young, Patterson, and Longwood. He will be greatly missed.

Wishing all of our Indian Prairie School District 204 Community a safe and Happy 4th of July!
Join us in congratulating IPEF Board Director Shirin Naderipour for receiving a Fire Chief's Citizen Award from Naperville Fire Chief, Mark Puknaitis at a recent Naperville City Council meeting. Shirin performed CPR on a citizen who was unconscious and unresponsive until paramedics could arrive, saving the citizen's life.

IPEF is proud to welcome Glenn Jones to our Board of Directors!
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical & Project Management, an MBA with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Business, and brings over 20 years of global IT project management and strategic technology leadership. Glenn is married and is a 19-year resident of Aurora, IL. He is a proud father of two current and one former Indian Prairie School District 204 students.
Glenn is a dedicated community member and a fervent supporter of his children's endeavors. He also served as the Vice President for the PAGES Tutoring program, a parent advocacy group of Waubonsie Valley High School. He is also an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc..
On June 19, 1865, over two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, the enslaved African-Americans in Galveston, Texas finally received the news that they were free. Today, we commemorate and celebrate that freedom.
IPEF is proud to welcome Shirin Naderipour to our Board of Directors!
Shirin and her family moved to Naperville from Oklahoma in 2023, where she was an active charity and community service volunteer for over 10 years. Shirin is currently working as a fitness instructor at the Fry YMCA.
Shirin and her husband have two children who attend Indian Prairie School District 204 schools. She is an enthusiastic volunteer for the Fry Elementary PTA and is a passionate and talented chef. Shirin recently received a Fire Chief's Citizen Award at the May 2024 Naperville City Council Meeting. Welcome, Shirin!

IPEF is proud to welcome Jimena Hassler to our Board of Directors!
Jimena was born in Peru, and has lived in Naperville for nearly 25 years. Currently, she works at Prairie State Legal Services as an Intake Specialist, supporting members of the Hispanic community.
Jimena has one current and two former IPSD 204 students. She is passionate about education and has volunteered for various IPSD 204 schools and in several district organizations, including the Bilingual Parent Advisory Council (BPAC) and Parent Diversity Advisory Council - PDAC IPSD 204. Welcome Jimena!
