Hey Region 109!
Family martial arts is hosting a fabulous sparring clinic on May 25. This is open to all leadership and Legacy students blue belt and up who wanna train sparring, combat sparring, and team sparring with four amazing guests. Get ready for districts on June 1 and world championships in July. The cost is $45 and we would love to see as many as you guys come!!

This event is open to eight years and older blue belts and up so long as they are in leadership. Period

Please wear ATA black attire (ie black ATA shirts and black kicking pants)

We will have classes on Monday (4/22), but testing will resume Tuesday - Thursday and we have our last regional tournament of the season in Loveland on Saturday (4/27). There will be no classes on these days.

Congratulations to Hendric on winning 2nd place in creative weapons at his first out of state tournament!
I also want to say THANK YOU to Ashley Morris for taking the time to go talk to Hendric because he was really nervous. He usually competes with a lot of friends & familiar faces but since this was an out of state tournament he didn’t know anyone.

For as long as I can remember, martial arts has been a part of my life. Regardless of how many black belts I earn, or how high my rank gets, I still feel like I’m barely scratching the surface.

I have been fortunate to have met many talented individuals in my journey through martial arts, most especially the students at Saddle Rock ATA! You have truly inspired me, and helped me grow immensely.

Sadly this chapter in my life has come to an end, for now. I will be pursuing a career in fire fighting and unfortunately it’s demand more time and dedication than I expected.

Although I will no longer be instructing at Saddle Rock ATA, I wanted to you to know I am still here to help you! Just reach out to me.

Thank you Saddle Rock for an amazing ride. To the hundreds of students, regardless if I’ve taught you previously, came in for one class, or if you’re still a student after my 6 almost 7 year run as a Saddle Rock instructor, you all have truly made me a better teacher.

I hope I was able to inspire at least ONE of you, then that’s all that matters ☺️

I love you guys and I’ll miss you all!
