Todays reason to get out of bed: Our fall drinks have landed and we are all particularly jazzed about this caramel apple cider reboot. Not as cloyingly sweet as the caramel ciders of yore, this guy is real cider topped with lightly sweetened salted caramel foam. Hot or Iced, it tastes like putting on a fresh flannel and going for a walk in the leaves.

Some of you asked if we could please make some other gluten free scone flavors (no hard feelings chocolate chip oat scone). Here is our first try, a cinnamon glazed pumpkin scone which will be featured for the rest of the month (look for them on the weekends). Let us know what you think!

Pumpkin has landed! Everyone’s favorite little pumpkin cream cheese bar is in the case today. We even have pumpkin peanut butter bones for your fall-loving doggies 🐶!!

We are looking for an early morning baker to work 4:30am-1:00pm three or four days a week (either wed/thurs/fri/sat or thurs/fri/sat firm)

Job includes baking fresh pastries each morning to fill the display case and then prep doughs and batters for the next morning. Must be able to comfortably lift and carry 50 lbs and work standing for an entire shift.

White Rabbit Bakery is a small, family-owned bakery in the small town of Aurora, known for its history and antique stores. We are 20 minutes south of Portland and north of Salem. We are a happy, friendly, inclusive group looking for a positive upbeat individual to join our team. Food service experience is a plus but personal baking experience paired with any other kind of hard-work experience will do! We will train the right person.

February begins tomorrow! (Can you believe it??) which means Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. You will start seeing love-themed everything at The Rabbit including these insanely delicious double-chocolate strawberry glazed donuts which we make all month in honor of . All proceeds from EHH donut sales in February go to this awesome local charity which supports cardiac research and provides much needed support for pediatric patients and their families. So don’t be shy, order a box for someone you luuuuv and do a good deed at the same time!! (Plus, its tricky to find them in the bakery, it’s hard to keep them on the shelf!)

Spotlight on chocolate bars, in stock now at The Rabbit. Resolutions or no, these are a vibrant and healthy way to start the new year. These fudgy chocolate bars are raw-diet and paleo-diet friendly. With simple, organic ingredients these treats are more of a clean fuel than something to feel guilty about (we don’t endorse food guilt anyway). We are stocking the Salted Almond, Chocolate Cake and Oregon Mint flavors and recommend all three. Oh, and did we mention they are made locally? Joy trifecta.
