David shared over 29 years of his life with Sunbelt and has undoubtedly left a tremendous mark on the company. From customer service, outside sales, marketing, purchasing and everything in between, David has played a huge role in the overall success of Sunbelt.

Beyond his many professional accomplishments, David also completed multiple ultra-marathons, and for 16 years served as Team Captain for Sunbelt’s Hood to Coast relay team, known as Team Plumb Crazy. In addition to his team leadership, David served as our liaison with American Cancer Society, and played an integral role in establishing this Sunbelt tradition which has raised more than $500,000 to fight cancer to date!

While we will miss his unwavering commitment, he is most deserving of this next chapter.

Our teams total fundraising this year was $41,730, and we couldn't have done that without your support. THANK YOU!

All smiles from Team Sunbelt and our Kenyan partners as we finished up our construction projects. Hand in hand with the local community, we constructed a new house for a woman lovingly known as “Cucu”. After finishing up, we headed over to “Mama’s” house. There we worked to install a water line that provided her and her neighbors direct access to water. Tomorrow we are headed to Nyeri to visit the OVC and a few other local sites.

Today and every day these are good words to live by.

Today the Sunbelt team had the opportunity and honor to join the parishioners of Shalom Baptist Church in the grand opening of their new sanctuary.
Their new sanctuary can now fit double the amount of members compared to their previous establishment.
The service was filled with joyful noise, thankful hearts, and even cake!

Sunbelt is very honored to be sending another team to Kenya! The group is currently in the air arriving late Friday night.

This trip will focus on women’s health, digging waterlines to provide the local community with access to dependable water, and will end with the renovation and rebuilding of a house for a Kenyan family.

The goal of this visit is to lay water lines and spigots for families and widows in Lamuria, and to aid in the construction of a home for a family in Biricha.

The team arrived in Johannesburg this morning, and are on schedule to arrive in Nairobi at 10:30 PM before traveling to a hotel in Thika to rest.

Tomorrow, they will meet for lunch and an overview of the week's plans, then visit the project sites in Kieni West.

Our team in Texas spent their Sunshine Days volunteering with Mobile Loaves & Fishes. Mobile Loaves & Fishes has become the largest community-based model in the country lifting homeless men and women up off the streets into community and home.
