🔋 Did you know typical solar installations often oversize the DC array by 20-30%? Resulting in clipping of solar production on the best performing days. This leads to up to 5% energy loss annually. But with DC-coupled energy storage systems, we can recapture this lost energy directly into the battery!
💡 DC-coupled energy storage not only recaptures clipped energy but also enables higher DC ratios of 2+. This means a >40% reduction in required AC inverters and the ability to install >60% more DC solar behind a given AC interconnection limit. It's a win-win!
