Travel Leaders Network Edge Conference! Today was a day to get up to date with the last trends in Ecotourism, Adventure Travel and Sustainable Travel!

Second day in D.C.: The White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and the African American History and Culture Museum!

First day in Washington DC! We visited the Capitol Building and the United States Botanical Garden!

Second Day of The Travel Advisor Conference! Lots of great value, information on the best trends, and valuable connections with new and old partners!

The brand new Pantanal Bioparque. Fresh Water species from Pantanal, Amazon and some samples from other continents.

Afternoon Safaris. We saw mainly Capybaras and Caymans. We saw some groups of wild pigs, including the queixada. Tuiuiús gave us a private show! The big birds with a black neck.

I'm completely amazed by the Pantanal. I can't put into words the peace we feel here.

Next I'm going on a night safari.

Early morning horseback riding. It was my first time! Sr. Valtair was super patient and nice. My horse, paraguaya, was very sweet. She noticed I was a newbie and would go very slowly and gently!

We saw several species of birds, several Capybaras, and we saw the cowboys taking care of the calves that were born yesterday.

No pictures or videos are able to transmit the emotion of being here. We're surrounded by wild animals, especially birds!

I know my pictures are nothing impressive, as I just have my phone with me, but there is no better way to represent this place.

The ranch I'm staying at is very charming, and the food never ceases to amaze me! Just had the best Hearts of Palm Quiche for dinner. The staff is the best!

All the guides are very well trained, supportive and knowledgeable about the place.

I have a busy day tomorrow! Keep following my trip!

Day 3 in Bonito: Gruta do Lago Azul - Blue Lake Cavern.

300 hundred steps going down and then up. We had the best time of year and day to visit. In November and December, early mornings, the sun shines on the water.

This is one of the main attractions in Bonito! That's where tourism started in town.

Day 2 in Bonito: Floating at the Silver River, Rio da Prata! Diversity of fish and fauna. We saw an alligator at the margin, and several springs. Amazing!!!

We hiked 2.5 miles (4Km) for several hours. We stopped in 8 waterfalls, several of them with swimming spots. The rain provided some relief for the heat, and we were wet the entire time from swimming anyway! The group was amazing, our guide Saltiva was very patient and knowledgeable. The food at the end of the hike was unbelievably delicious!

This week we are in Brazil! My home country! Visiting this amazing rainforest area in Western Brazil: Bonito!

"Bonito" means beautiful in Portuguese.

Today we will hike to 8 different waterfalls.

I'm so glad I heard from my clients today! They told their family and friends about the trip right at the altar! After their lovely wedding, they enjoyed a train ride to Reno and a beautiful drive to Lake Tahoe.

Museum of Pop Culture! Our last stop in Seattle, before we head back home to Austin, TX.

Lots of musical instruments of local artists and bands like Jimmy Hendrix and Nirvana. Movie props from several movies from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Totally worth the visit, tickets included in the city pass.

Chihuly Garden and Glass is the Art Gallery for the work of Dale Chihuly, local glass artist.

The tickets are part of the City Pass. It has amazing views of the Space Needle.

Seattle Space Needle. Super interesting visit! The hall tells the story of the construction and opening in 1962.

Very challenging for people afraid of heights. I couldn't look out on the elevator on the ascend. And I could not step on the glass floor platform.

The elevator takes you to the regular floor, and you go down some stairs to reach the glass floor rotating platform. So, you can avoid it. That's what I did!

Sunset Cruise on Elliot Bay, Seattle. We got a nice view of the skyline from the water, saw cargo ships being unloaded, and my favorite part: a nice view of the Mount Rainier at all times!

The Argosy Harbour Cruise is part of the City Pass. Highly recommend reserving beforehand. Our departure was sold out and some people could not board. I had reserved it in the morning.

Today started early, so that I could go to some of the highlights of Banff National Park and Jasper National Park.
