But if you are in Bangkok , you would be so lucky to see the rehearsals of Royal Thai Barges.Thai Royal Barge Procession has been called one of the most spectacular sights in Asia.
Visitors to Bangkok will have some rare chances to witness the beauty and pageantry of Thailand’s Royal barges.
The historic event is scheduled to take place on 27 October 2024

Not only Northeastern Thai food are found here during the Naga fireballs festival but also varieties of street food all over the country such as Pad Thaí, Boat Noodle Soup, Satay, Papaya Salad, Pad See Ew, etc can be found here.

Naga fireballs festival is around the last week of October on a specific day. There is a myth about Naga which is a snake god expels fireballs to celebrate the return of Buddha.
One scientific explanation is that the fireballs are a result of flammable phosphine gas generated by the marshy environment. Somehow this is then drawn up by Wan Ok Phansa (End of Buddhist lent day) full moon to create the fireballs.
