Dr. Patel started with the Pediatric Associates Family of Companies in 2018. She was born in Canada, studied in Detroit, and trained in Philadelphia. The experience of living in different states has taught her to appreciate a variety of patient populations. Her areas of interest include: newborns and supporting new moms with breastfeeding and nutrition help (she has a degree in Nutrition).🤱🍎💪 Dr. Patel is a new mom to a 2 year old daughter. Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a very common virus that can cause cancers later in life. Nearly 42 million people are currently infected with HPV in the United States. About 13 million people, including teens, become infected with HPV each year.In the U.S., nearly 36,000 people are estimated to be affected by a cancer caused by HPV infection each year.
