Cold IPA Collab 🧊🍻 Featuring Big Country 🤝 Protector Brewery
The collab: We teamed up with our fellow organic brewers and friends at @protectorbrewery in San Diego, CA on a new venture for both breweries…a Cold IPA. Sean Haggerty and his SoCal team have been brewing up crazy good IPAs using organic ingredients since 2017, and we are thrilled to partner with them on this project!
The beer: A hoppy and crisp West Coast Style IPA recipe is made even crispier with few tweaks to the mash bill and a dose of lager yeast instead of ale yeast, lightening up the color, the body, and the finish. It drinks easy with the Citra and Cascade hops providing a moderate bitterness and bright citrus taste.
