Last week’s newsletter included the answer to “Which Exam Should I Take?” 🤔
Breaking down the ANCC and AANP exam blueprints and what to expect, there’s a blog on our website that does a deep dive into this topic if you missed the email.
It ALSO explains which study materials are great for each exam, aka, the AANP Bronze Max Bundle and those lovely Outline Books 👀
You can find both the blog and how to sign up for our weekly newsletters full of current news and updates through the link in my bio! 🙋🏾♀️

Working for our goal can be exhausting at times. A lot of things must be endured to get there. There will be sleepless nights and skipped meals, which may cause us to lose motivation to keep going, thinking it may all be for nothing. If your plan A does not seem to work, then switch to plan B!
Remember, anything worth having doesn't come easy! If your first plan does not work, you can always change it!
Mr. Daniel review breaks down the materials
On days where you feel like your hard work is going to waste, I hope you remember it's a process and you are on your way! One day at a time bestie
You can do hard things ✨.
Sometimes we stop ourselves before we even start something – just because we think it's going to be hard.
And the truth is, it might be!
Becoming a real deal NP isn't easy – I'm not gonna sugar coat it.
But it's sooo not impossible.
Not even close 🚫.
And if you've gone through nursing school, you know what hard is – am I right 😂?
So you KNOW you can do hard things.
And you also know, it'll be so, so worth it in the end 💫.
You got this!
I'm always rooting for you 💜.

Okay, time to let it off your chest! What is something that feels really hard to do this week? Let it out!

If you've failed your exam, it does not mean you'll make a bad nurse practitioner 🚫.
I want you to keep that in mind as you read this caption.
There are so many factors at play when it comes to failing an exam – and one of the biggest things you can control is your anxiety.
So when you're starting to prep for writing your exam again, I want you to congratulate yourself for trying again.
That's not easy to do and you should be proud of that 💫.
Next, practice what you're going to do on exam day when you get to those tough questions.
✔️ Are you going to skip it, build up your confidence and come back later?
✔️ Are you going to take a break?
✔️ Are you going to brain dump?
Whatever that plan looks like for you, you want to be practicing it while doing practice questions AND exams.
YOU GOT THIS.
YOU WILL PASS.
I'm already proud of you for not giving up 💜.
What are you most nervous about for your exam?
Mr. Daniel makes the material easy for you 💯
You don't need to change a single thing about yourself 💜!
You already have everything you need to succeed inside of you.
Because look at you! You've already gotten this far, right?
You applied for school.
You got in.
And now you're on the path to becoming a real deal.
That's why you're in my corner of the internet!
So the next time you begin to doubt yourself, I want you to pause.
👉️ Look how far you've come and make a list of your accomplishments.
Kinda like that list of tangibles I always talk about 😉.
So let's start it right here! What is one accomplishment so far that you're super proud of?
New Practice Question ✍️.
We are looking for the person who would be a poor candidate for an ace inhibitor.
👉️ Who would have a contraindication to taking an ace inhibitor?
Let's break this question down!
✖️ What patient would be a poor choice for an ACE–I?
✖️ What class do we traditionally avoid in COPD?
The answer is D: A 42-year-old with moderate kidney disease.
Now, are ACE-I good or bad for the kidneys? Both!
They CAN be renal protective – but once we get to a moderate to severe kidney disease, they ARE contraindicated.
So we need to be monitoring that kidney function and watching that GFR.
But in a patient with moderate kidney, it could just wreak havoc for that patient – so that would be the worst choice.
How did you do with this one?
Our Primary Care Question Bank is filled with 1,000 questions just like this – and is only a click away 💜.
Answers to your burning Live Study Group questions 👇️!
We want you to feel confident and sure of your decision to join us on the inside so we wanted to address a few questions that we get quite often.
So here we go 🙋♀️.
👉️ How long does the Live Study Group last?
In total, 5 weeks! Everything is done after week 4 so that final week is just a bonus week for anything you'd like to rewatch! In 4 weeks – we'll have you ready to become a real-deal NP!
👉️ How does the passing guarantee work?
The passing guarantee is offered to those who participate in ALL of the components of the live study groups! We will stand behind you and give you course access again for free – THAT'S how confident we are you'll pass the first time 😉.
👉️ How are Live Study Groups different from Live Webinar Reviews?
Our Live Study Groups are interactive and fun! This is not your typical boring lecture class – we really care about each of you individually as students and want to make sure you succeed.
This is by far the most "hands-on" board prep you can find!
