Overlooking the Austin skyline, a challenging hillside becomes the canvas for a striking architectural vision. Here, we play with contrast, balancing the steep vertical drop-off with bold horizontal elements—a daring cantilever, a bridged entryway, and sweeping stretches of blonde wood planks.

Meet Chelsey Prudhomme, Project Coordinator with Shoberg Homes. Armed with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, Chelsey brings over a decade of expertise from the vibrant design scene of New York City. Her journey led her to Austin in 2016, where her passion for home transformation ignited. Transitioning seamlessly into flipping homes and interior design, Chelsey found her niche. In 2022, she brought her wealth of experience to Shoberg Homes, joining our team as a Project Coordinator. Collaborating closely with our Project Managers, she serves as a vital link between clients, architects, and designers, ensuring a seamless and satisfying new construction process. Chelsey's eye for detail and dedication to excellence make her an invaluable asset to our team. Welcome her expertise into your home-building journey.

Congratulations to our partner A Parallel Architecture for receiving a 2023 Honor Award from ARCHITECT magazinefor our West Lynn project.

For the 2023 Residential Architect Design Awards, the esteemed jurors sifted through an impressive pool of 264 submissions, looking for housing innovators. Carefully weighing scale, purpose, and sustainability, the jurors ultimately selected a class of 10 winners—five honor award recipients, three merit award recipients, and two honorable mention recipients—that showcase how residential architecture at its best can support individuals, communities, and environments.

Meet one of our skilled and seasoned Project Managers, Brian Boles! With a career that began as a carpenter in 1996, Brian's journey led him to graduate from Rutgers with a degree in urban planning in 2000. Over nearly two decades, he honed his skills in construction management, specializing in institutional, educational, and high-end residential projects in New York and New Jersey. Brian even took a break to run a successful furniture business crafting modern wood and steel pieces for Brooklyn and the Bronx.

Now, he's a valuable member of our team at Shoberg Homes in Austin, Texas. Beyond his construction prowess, Brian enjoys cooking, home improvement projects, jogging, and planning exciting travel adventures. We're thrilled to have him on board!
