Hope nonetheless.
Hope despite.
Hope regardless.
Hope still.
Hope where we had ceased to hope.
Hope amid what threatens hope.
Hope with those who feed our hope.
Hope beyond what we had hoped.
Hope that draws us past our limits.
Hope that defies expectations.
Hope that questions what we have known.
Hope that makes a way where there is none.
Hope that takes us past our fear.
Hope that calls us into life.
Hope that holds us beyond death.
Hope that blesses those to come.
Night yall.
When Jesus wept at Lazarus' tomb, it was not because he was in despair. He was about to raise Lazarus from the dead! I think it was because He was feeling the sorrow that the people around Him were feeling. He was a living example of empathy.
Empathy can be defined as the active pursuit of understanding someone else's feelings and perspective. Some people seem to be naturally empathetic. If you are among those who are not, try this:
TALK LESS - The wise accumulate knowledge—a true treasure; know-it-alls talk too much—a sheer waste. (Proverbs 10:14)
PAY CLOSER ATTENTION TO OTHERS - Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words.] (James 1: 19)
SHOW RESPECT EVEN IF YOU DON’T FEEL IT - Show proper respect to everyone. (1 Peter 2:17)
Our goal as Christians is to be Christ-like in our relationships with others. That starts with adopting His attitude, which Paul wrote about to the Philippians. “Be humble and consider others more important than yourselves. Care about them as much as you care about yourselves.” That is the basis for genuine empathy.

“Anger is energy to problem solve. It is energy to do the right thing
in the service of our deeper values, morals, and principles. Anger is a
problem primarily if we use it in violation of these principles.”

💙🙏🏼✝️ Mom, even tho we had our differences and got on each others nerves now and then, you were an inspiration. You fought thru and overcame so much in your life and you loved us and taught all of us so many good lessons over the years. You were a “mother” to so many and you loved the Lord with your life. We thought you would out love us all but God wanted you home with Him. As much as it tears us up to not have you with us, we know we will see you again. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING! I can only pray that I will be as caring and selfless as you have been. I love you 💕

Happy Advent and Christmastide to you all!
Friends and Family, what an amazing adventure the Lord has brought us on this past year. We are so excited to be used by God to be a blessing here in Austin. We have felt well received, and useful in the gifts we’ve received from God, to present to others. Angel has been volunteering at the Pregnancy Resource Center and has invited others to join the ranks of volunteers as well. Angel has also been helping with the trainings we have been doing at the church.
We finished our first two cohorts of training in Evangelism and Outreach at Christ Church of Austin through Church Army USA. We have been invited to share this training with other churches in the area and to expand it into other areas in Central Texas. We have been piloting this training and are so grateful for Christ Church of Austin extending grace as we have worked out some of the bugs. We still have room for growth, and are excited about two potential positions, one in marketing and one in education.
As far as personally, we’ve had things that have challenged us, and things that we have celebrated. We lost our Great Dane, Dora, after 11 years of love. The Ford Excursion, affectionately known as the Beast, also died. Some of you helped us raise money to buy a new vehicle, and we are grateful for that. Our youngest, Amara has had the same job since we’ve been here and has been promoted twice. So grateful that she is thriving here. I have found some men that have welcomed me in, and we meet regularly for encouragement and accountability. Angel has continued to be creative and had a table for a second year in the East Austin Studio Tour, showcasing her talents. She has found a group of creatives to connect with as well. So grateful for the community we have found here in Austin.
Gratitude does not have enough of an impact on how we feel about the way the Lord is using us here and also nationally. We know that for the next phase of life means more shared resources and we want to give you all an opportunity to join the work that we are doing here in Austin through giving to Church Army USA’s New Initiative. We are Reclaiming our Roots. We are called to share the love of Christ out of being loved by Christ. We Invite you to join us as we expand the awareness of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Who We Are...
Earth Angel Apothecary is helping to empower marginalized women to recognize their true value in themselves and in Christ and His intent, in order to help them move from...Hopeless to Hopeful - Useless to Useful - Helpless to Helpful
While essential oils are therapeutic and healing, that’s not the only way our apothecary hopes to share a message of healing. We want to help inspire women to discover and nourish their creative side, recognizing that we have all been given gifts and abilities by God to bless and help others. We all have the need to make something, to channel the creative side of ourselves in to something that connects us to something deeper: a level of self-discovery and understanding.
