$418m lawsuit settlement paid out from NAR to ?? Someone.?

Result: Now the MLS won’t have advertised commissions on listings behind the scenes… which was typically posted around 3% per side… now commissions will be unknown up front and MLS agents will have to secure them for themselves at the time of the contract negotiations. (Honestly this was the best reason to have MLS,posted commissions).

To all my MLS agent friends, I have to secure my commission on every deal on the commercial side. Don’t worry guys you don’t need to stress out about it. Just put your fee in the buyers representation form or listing agreement and move along. And consider leaving the MLS for another platform that will probably emerge soon.
