Physician experiences with AI documentation 02/05/2024

AI and the future of medicine. Workload in primary care may finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Physician experiences with AI documentation While I don’t believe that AI is ready to replace physicians when it comes to the practice of medicine (now or possibly ever), I have been shocked at how far it has progressed in acting as a medical scribe.

I’m honored to be featured on the cover of the June 2022 Texas Medical Association Magazine as the Chair of the Patient and Physician Advocacy Committee. Kelly Walla, the chief counsel of TMA, should also be recognized as she is instrumental in the fulfilling the mission of the committee. We work to advocate for patients and physicians in areas related to quality and utilization of medical care, including peer review in order to ensure that high standards of care are available to all.
