🦞 The VORTEX artists are once again joining together to create a gigantic extravaganza that will delight all of your senses. Enter Dali’s surreal universe with a performance installation cocktail party evoking his aesthetic and artistry.

Dali’s Naked Feast is an opportunity to graze from elegantly designed food art on naked bodies. Artistic hors d’oeuvres are designed with culinary magic and feature vegan, meat, gluten-free, and dessert options by Chef Nic Patrizi. The Butterfly Bar serves up the Casanova cocktail from Dali’s very own recipe. Salvador Dali himself will be in attendance. Live Music by Roland & the Roots Riddim and more throughout the feast.

In addition to delicious food art on naked platters, there will be tango, live painting, a large silent auction, contests, and games. The silent auction includes beautiful, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted arts, dinners from local business partners, and professional services.

To celebrate his 25th year in magic, Rudy Reynoso brings Austin a magic show unlike anything before. The Roundtable is a dazzling mix of fun magic, card shark sleight of hand, and deeply moving mentalism. With a background performing for brands including McDonald’s, HBO Max, and the 60th Grammy Awards, Rudy showcases the best of magic right before your eyes. The show is highly interactive which means not only is it likely you’ll join Rudy on stage, but the show is different every night!

👉 Funny, Like an Abortion is a surreal new comedy, set in the near future in a United States of America where abortion is illegal nation-wide and even saying the word “abortion” is a crime. It’s a comedy, until it’s not. This play contains frank discussions of misogyny, pregnancy, abortion, reproductive rights, privacy rights, and freedom of speech. And there’s juggling and tap dancing. As we in Texas are living with the staggering loss of reproductive freedom and with ominous potential for a national ban, this play is a call to conversation, compassion, education, and action. Funny, Like an Abortion finds truth and humor in a time of absurd circus.

🌀 The VORTEX proudly shares this Rolling World Premiere as part of the National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere with Mile Street Theatre in New Jersey and Cleveland Public Theatre. Funny, Like An Abortion was originally developed with PlayGrounds 25th and 26th Festival of New Works with Jim Kleinmann, Artistic Director (Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco).
