We are excited to announce that The Art Galleries at ACC in conjunction with the Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Center are organizing a Student Exhibition in the TAG Art Lab for Spring 2023!
This showcase will be part of the Art Department's and the Truth, Racial Healing, & Transformation (TRHT) center's contribution to the National Day of Racial Healing on January 17, 2023.
The theme of the show and week's events is: "Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Begins With Me!" The show and event are a reminder that equity, justice, love, care, and respect for all individuals starts with each and every one of us.
Exhibition dates: Tuesday, January 17, 2023 through Thursday, March 2, 2023
The deadline to submit artwork is Tuesday, January 3.
A guest juror will select the artwork for display and will also choose contest prize winners.
Contest Prize:
1st Place - $300
Second Place - $150
Third Place - $50 Amazon Gift Card
Artists must be current Austin Community College students.

I can’t say enough about this event except that you should not miss it!
The Art Galleries (TAG) at Austin Community College, Coronado Print Studio, the Serie Project, and the Arts and Digital Media Division, ACC will host an Artists in Conversation hybrid event, held in conjunction with the Fall 2022 exhibition “Cultivating Community through Art: Sam Coronado’s Serie Project and its Continuing Legacy.”
The following guests will join Gallery Director, Peter Bonfitto, on Thursday, December 1 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on ACC Highland Campus for this live-streamed and in-person roundtable event.

Alma Lopez, Serie Project artist and lecturer in the Cesar E. Chavez Department of Chicana/o and Central American Studies and LGBTQ Studies Program at UCLA
