August Line Up!

Hello ATX friends and community, after a long day’s work on Christmas, we at will be closing Sun, Dec 26th for a little rest and family time of our own. We will be back to regular hours on Mon, Dec 27th.

EXCITING NEWS!!! Sweet Chive will be co-hosting a spooky vintage pop-up with on October 31st. Costumes are encouraged. Come scare us 👻👻👻

EVENT DETAILS

The pop-up will be during the day 11 AM - 4 PM, and it will be outside in our parking lot in back. If you get hungry while you shop, will be slangin goodies and will have scratch-made donuts! Check the tags to see the awesome list of vendors who will be bringing you all the vintage goodness you’ve been missing.

Masks are required and everyone stay 6 ft apart!! Check this space for any updates. Otherwise, we can’t wait to see you all!

We want to let our Austin community know that we are still open for business. While we continue to be open, we are closely monitoring the situation and staying current with the CDC, WHO, and local and state health official guidance. As we remain open for guests, we continue to provide a clean and safe environment inside and outside the restaurant. While the situation progresses, we’re exploring other options to serve our community.

Sweet Chive is a family-run business, and we sincerely appreciate all the support we have received and continue to receive during these unprecedented times- our customers are our support system. IT’S BEEN ONE YEAR FOR SWEET CHIVE. We are so grateful for our customers, new and old. As we contemplate all the hard work and good will that got us here, we wish you and yours all the best. We will be closed the 24th and 25th, so we can take a break and spend time with family. Back to normal business hours on the 26th, so we’ll see y’all then!!

Hi hi! Sweet Chive is now hiring!! We are located in East Austin at 2515 E Cesar Chavez St. This is a woman-owned, family business that serves Taiwanese-based homecooking. We are looking for front-of-house positions and an assistant manager right now. Duties for front of house members will include counter ordering, busing tables, running food, cleaning duties, etc. The Assistant Manager will facilitate front and back-of-house operations and report to the owner. Candidates must be hardworking, friendly, and reliable.
