Michael Davis, born 5 June 1943, bass player for MC5.
I was a little young and missed ever seeing the originals, but luckily did see the MC5/DKT lineup at Emo's in Austin, TX in June 2004.
That show was interesting...it was great to see, in the flesh, Michael, Wayne and Dennis but strange to see Marshall Crenshaw filling in for Fred (although I'm a HUGE Marshall fan) and Mark Arm (like him) and Evan Dando (hate him) alternating as Rob Tyner.

We lost Michael 17 Feb 2012.
