Scribe Residential Management is the culmination of over 25 years as Property Management company successions. We are an independent Austin-local company, not a franchise – we are in full control to make the decisions of how to best serve the needs of our Landlord clients and their tenants.
As an organization, we feel that the management and staff of Scribe are “the Company”, working together and taking pride in our work as a profession, trusting in each other, and performing to exceed customer expectations. We are logical, proactive, and solutions-oriented in the way we work.
In January of 2016, Alcazar Residential, Ltd. acquired long-standing Property Management company Recar and Associates, Realtors (owned since 1999 by Richard A. Smith, who also owned Coldwell Banker United, Realtors and sold that company in 2015) and formed Scribe Residential Management. Under the Scribe brand, the company is solely dedicated to providing Property Management expertise and utilizing the upper-management and time-tested systems gained through the company’s acquisition. Greg A. Fedro GRI MPM is the founding partner of Alcazar Residential, Ltd. and serves as the new President/CEO and Broker of Scribe Residential Management. Alcazar Residential, Ltd. also owns Casa Dulce Realty, which provides Residential Leasing Services to Scribe.
