My off day is simple.
Around my garden , My husband harvested eggplant 🍆 and I cut some green onions in front of yard.
Then I baked eggplant and made green onions with organic olives oil add a little bit soy sauce and fresh chili 🌶️ from my garden…
We have simple healthy lunch

When I make mung bean cakes.. It reminds me many memories when I was a student.
After I graduated from High School. I asked my mother's permission to let me go to University in Saigon City where is far my City 3 to 4 hours for driving, that isthe time for now because the government develops for building the highways and Bridges.
In the past, I spent whole day for sitting on the bus to Saigon City because I must wait to through 2 big ferries . Sometimes I had to sleep overnight on the bus if the traffic was congested that day..
I remember, I lived in a small apartment ,there is only 1-bedroom But I lived with my aunt's family (there are 4 people in apartment “my aunt, her husband and their 2 children). I usually get up very early to drive motorbike to the bakery store and open the door before I go to University . Then my aunt would go to come to work and change for me whole day
After I off at school, I come home and I help my aunt make the cake because my aunt is the owner of a small bakery in the market of district.
Auntie taught me a lot about all the cakes what she sells.Such as Flan cake, baked banana cake, Mung bean cake …
But my favorite is Mung bean cake , because it is very special in America .. I have been to many bakeries here.. But I have never seen Mung bean cake.
And I decided to include Mung Bean cake to my dessert menu.

I'm so happy and thanks for your loving my mung bean cake.
And I don't forget to thank to my aunt who taught me many different kinds Cake .

Spring is coming and bluebonnet is opening at Thicket Food Park now 😍

Every body is shopping for happy new year today.. I’m shopping every week like I have happy new year every week LOL 😆 .. I’m trying to chose Organic food for my business at Food Trailer. I wish you will happy with my food and you will be healthy forever…

I closed my business last two months…
There are so many hard things that I have to do .There have been some changes to the laws in the food business this year.
I had to completely replace the new electrical system and the frozen weather is broken my water pipes under the sink last week. Beside that I must maintain the equipment for the kitchen with inspection hood suppression regulator and fire system, although my new trailer was built last year ..…
I learned a lot about the owner of business, it is not easy from the paperwork , there are many applications form to do and spent too much expense .
But I don’t give up ..😆😆😆
Finally,I passed inspection this year
I will reopen on January 4, 2023

Normally, I go to work from 10 am and come back home at 10 pm.
But I still try to keep my family tradition.
Every morning, I prepare breakfast for my husband .. If I have many free time before I go to work, I will eat breakfast with him, If I don’t have time, I eat on my car on the way..I understand that my husband is already older .. I need to spend more time taking care of him .
Every night , my family has a meal together, although it's a bit late, but this is the time for the children to share their activities every day outside with us .. And ask for questions or discuss , talking about fun stories what they need to help and advice from us.
The family is small but the happy is big ❤️
