Bruno Integrative Dentistry is closed until 4/21/20 at this time, in accordance with the mandate from Governor Abbott for all dental offices to suspend non-essential services. Dr. Bruno, however, is available for you by cell phone for any emergency needs you may have. Her cell phone can be found on the outgoing office voicemail.

We will inform you once we have more information about when the office will reopen. For now, if you have an appointment prior to 4/21/20, you can consider that appointment cancelled, and we will contact you to reschedule when we have more information.

Hello everyone. I know we haven't been around, and I just wanted to check in and let you all know I am here when and if you need me. My cell phone is on the outgoing voicemail as always.

I hope you all are staying healthy and enjoying some family time and a slow down to the fast paced life we all normally have. Try your best to enjoy this calm even amidst all that is going on. At our house, I have transitioned from Dentist to Homeschooling Mom. We learned how to bake and studied the planets. What are you guys doing at home?

Boosting your immune system is always a wonderful idea but especially so during the time of this viral pandemic. So far today, I did a zoom power yoga class, sat in my sauna, and took my immune boosting supplements. How are you guys enjoying your time and staying healthy?

We are saddened to have to extend our closure through 4/6/20. The CDC and ADA have advised we only care for emergency cases. We are here to care for you if needed and we are looking forward to getting back to business as usual. Stay healthy friends! 512-372-8484

I wanted to say a special thank you to Laurie Lisciandro, Candice Herrera, and Sarah Leisy. These ladies are the backbone of Bruno Integrative Dentistry, and they handled dealing with changes to keep up with COVID19 updates without even a complaint. They supported me in my choices to keep the practice open for our patients and even supported me when it was decided that it was safest for us to close. To these three women, I owe you so much! Thank you for your hard work, diligence, and support. And a very special thank you for Laurie for staying until 7:30 tonight so we could see a patient that was having discomfort. You all are wonderful women!

After much consideration, Bruno Integrative Dentistry has decided to shut down the office the week of March 23, 2020. Although shutting down is not mandatory and dental offices deal with infectious diseases on a daily basis, we believe we are making the right decision. In order to keep our team and patients safe, we have elected to follow the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and American Dental Association (ADA).
Because there are many unanswered questions, we will be updating you on a weekly basis to let you know if we will be shutting down the following week/s. We are hopeful that we can soon continue the care you need in order to maintain your oral health.
If you are an existing patient and you have a dental emergency and must be seen, please call our office for our emergency line. We will soon implement Teledentistry that will allow you to consult with Dr. Bruno virtually to address any concerns or questions. Once this has been fully set up, we will send out more details.
We are thankful for our community for doing everything they can to stop the spread of COVID19 and we are thankful for each and every one of you.

At Bruno Integrative Dentistry, the health and safety of our patients is our utmost concern. We will be open during this time to serve our patients, and we are carefully watching the developments with COVID-19 and are taking precautions to help keep you safe.

If you have traveled internationally, traveled on any cruise ship, have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed below, we MUST reschedule your appointment for a future date.
• Fever
• Fatigue
• Cough
• Shortness of breath

Please call the office and our team will reschedule your appointment. We will be screening every patient at check in to identify and limit potential exposure to COVID-19 in our office.

These are the things we want you to know so you can feel comfortable while at the office.

1) Hand sanitizer will be at the door for you to use prior to coming in. Please make sure you clean prior to entering the office and upon leaving the office.
2) Pens that are out will be wiped with a sterilization wipe after use by every person.
3) We ask that everyone wash their hands if they use the bathroom for 20 seconds with warm water and soap.
4) There will only be 1-2 patients in the office at a time.
5) When you check in, we ask that you take a seat until you are called back.
6) When you are checking out, we ask that you stay on the side with Candice until checkout is complete.
7) If there is someone checking out and another person ready to leave, we will seat the second patient back in the waiting area until Candice is ready so we ensure only one person at the desk at a time.
8) Only patients will be allowed in the back. Any caregivers are welcome to wait outside in the beautiful sunshine, and we will happily get you after the appointment is complete. There is a nice table outside on the side of the office and another table behind the building in front of us.
9) Know that the office has been disinfected by our wonderful assistant Laurie to ensure safety for you. All of your team will be washing their hands in between every patient as we have been in the past. Every room is thoroughly sprayed and wiped after each patient. All instruments are sterilized and are only opened for your appointment. We will not be shaking hands at this time.

In addition, we have some wonderful immune boosting adjuncts at the office that can help keep you healthy during this viral season. Ozone is O3 and has the ability to kill viruses, fungi, bacteria, and parasites as it uses lipoperoxides and peroxides to destroy them from the inside. It also increases the flexibility of the red blood cells and upregulates the immune system. Infrared saunas reduce stress(which we all are feeling right now), support the immune system and increase resistance to disease, detoxify the body, and boosts metabolism.

Ozone breathing treatments are available for 25 minutes during your appointment or can be done as a precautionary measure even if you don't have an appointment.

10 minutes in the infrared sauna can be added before or after your appointment to boost your immune system, help your body detox, and kill off any viral intruders that are lurking.
