in Linguistics from The University of Texas at El Paso. She received her M.A. in English from The University of Texas at Austin. Shonna completed her training in Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia at Scottish Rite Dyslexia Center of Austin in 2014. After graduation, she opened a private practice and she currently offices in north Austin. Shonna sees adults in 1:1

College Panel is an annual event where high school students have the opportunity to hear directly from current college students about how to successfully navigate college with learning differences. Hosted by Neuhaus Education Center, this free event is co-sponsored by the Houston Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (HBIDA) and the Briarwood School.
