Did you know... Stress can impact on our diet and also have an impact on our immune system. Our metabolism can be disrupted and in turn the life cycle of our hair can be affected.
This disruption can cause an increased number of hairs to enter the shedding stage of the hair's growth cycle. Hair becomes thinner, finer and more hairs may be seen in combs, brushes, in the shower plug or on our pillows. This disruption should settle down normally and recover, however if shedding continues or you are worried about hair loss, contact a Trichologist for advice.

Did you know... One of the main causes of frizzy hair is lack of moisture. Common causes for hair lack of moisture includes harsh colouring and bleaching, too much heat, straightening irons, tongs, harsh brushing along with other factors. Our hair naturally absorbs moisture and dry damaged hair will naturally absorb moisture even quicker producing more frizz, unfortunately the more hair on a head equals more frizz!

The is no 1 right way. Do what works best for you.
Do we need to wash, rinse and repeat when washing our hair?
Washing our hair once or twice depends on the hair type and length between washes. For example, someone with fine hair who washes every day is likely to find one wash is sufficient at cleansing the hair and scalp leaving it feeling fresh and clean. Someone with thick, dense hair who washes every two to three days may find the hair and scalp requires two washes to provide a sufficient cleanse. Having an active lifestyle or career may also influence this.
