It depends whether a customer has a previous tattoo or a the dark-cold skin that needs to be warmed up.

In the first case, the previously made tattoo has blue/green/grey leftovers inside the skin can have a different level of saturation. Then more saturated an old tattoo, then more passes and Touch Ups are needed.

In the second case, a dark skin= more melanin in the skin, which could be covered with the warm inks. The darker the skin the more saturated and brighter the hue has to be used, and more passes have to be done to see a warm-light result.

In sum, whether it's dark skin or an old tattoo, the artist will always look at the saturation, hue, and lightness of the particular skin area, choose the right color, and do as many passes as needed. But no one artist can tell how many procedures will make a targeted color change. Moreover, the tattoo artist can never predict the exact color the client will have after the healing process (1-3 months). Yes, he can say it will be warmer, but without the exact .

The overall result of this work took 3 three procedures over 3,5 months.
First 2 procedures, we didn’t touch the shape and worked only on the color correction. When the brows became warm enough on the hue, it was the green light for changing the shape of the eyebrows.
