One day, I decided to look at my ADHD through a positive lens.

Instead of seeing it as a problem to be fixed, I embraced it as a part of who I am.

This shift in perspective changed everything for me and my private practice.

My practice began to attract people with ADHD who wanted something different.

No more “Change who you are.”
“Fix your problem.”
“Read these top 10 books.”

Instead, I offered a new approach: Accept who you are and learn about your ADHD.

Let me help you clear your limiting beliefs and create empowering ones.

This was my path, what I learned about myself when I did the work. In my feed, I share the ADHD Super Powers I have seen in myself and others. These traits are incredible, and once limiting beliefs are cleared, my clients soar!

They begin to thrive by setting a vision of what they wanted and focusing their thoughts and actions toward achieving that vision.

So, if you have ADHD, don’t buy into the tall tale that you need to be fixed. You are not broken.

Pt. 1- Time & ADHD

For many of us with ADHD, time is a tricky concept. "Later," "tomorrow," "next week" – these words often hold little weight in our world. Our ADHD brains operate in the now, making it hard to grasp the past, present, and future all at once.

ADHD & Time, what does this look like in daily life?

🕰️ Feeling like there's either "all the time in the world" or "no time at all."
📅 Struggling with task prioritization and organization.
⏳ Difficulty estimating how long tasks will take.
🚫 Procrastination or avoidance of starting tasks.
🔄 Jumping from one task to another without completing any.
📝 Making lists and buying planners, but not using them.

So, how can we tackle these time management challenges?
🧠 See time to remember it exists: Utilize visual aids like wall calendars and daily planners that you engage with daily.
🧠 Schedule structured time: Prioritize and schedule tasks, allowing your brain to see where work fits into your day.
🧠 Use real-time markers: Specify tasks with precise times, like "1:00 PM on April 16th."
🧠 Work backward: Start with your end goal (arrival time) and plan backward to determine your starting point and schedule.

Managing time with ADHD isn't always easy, but with practical strategies and persistence, we can learn to navigate it more effectively. Let's take each moment as it comes and keep striving for progress, not perfection. You’ve got this!
