Following the 2019 season, the FIA launched an investigation into Ferrari's power unit following claims that it had violated the technical regulations' provisions on fuel flow restrictions. The investigation concluded with no penalty being given to Ferrari as no case could be proven. However, the FIA tightened the fuel flow provisions for the 2020 season and introduced a second fuel flow sensor. The SF1000 was slower for the 2020 season, with GPS analysis suggesting that it had lost 65 bhp (48 kW) in comparison to the SF90.
The car's designation "SF1000" refers to Ferrari's one thousandth Grand Prix entry, which was originally due to occur at the 2020 Monaco Grand Prix, however, due to the cancellation and postponement of several races its 1000th race was at the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel continued his tradition of naming his cars, this time calling it "Lucilla".

The 2018 Red Bull RB14 is a British Formula One racing car manufactured by the Austrian, British based racing division of Red Bull, Red Bull Racing. Just like its RB13 predecessor, the Red Bull RB14 was specifically constructed to compete for Formula One racing but for the 2018 season where it was again driven by Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo and Dutch driver Max Verstappen. Out of the 21 races that the RB14 competed in, the RB14 won 4 races and managed to reach 13 podium positions.

Under the hood, the Red Bull RB14 comes equipped with an 1.6L Renault TAG Heuer V6 engine with a maximum rev capacity of 15,000 revolutions per minute. The RB14 weighs 145 kg (320 pounds).

The mid-engine rear-wheel drive Ferrari F40 was produced from 1987 to 1992, designed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ferrari (followed by the F50). The Ferrari F40 was the last Ferrari vehicle that was personally approved of by Enzo Ferrari — it was, of course, the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive vehicle for sale when it was produced.

The SF16H was a Formula 1 car designed by Ferrari to compete in the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship. The 'H' in the model name stands for 'Hybrid.' While it had an innovative steering wheel design, the car was not fast enough to land a single pole position or race win in 2016. It finished 3rd in the Constructors' Championship behind Mercedes and Red Bull.
